Every Memphis Shades fairing is built with black Lucite® acrylic and backed with a tough textured ABS inner structure. The result: a clean look with the backbone to handle the open road.

Yes. Every Memphis Shades windshield and fairing meets Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and complies with American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z26.1-1996 Group 6 safety regulations.

Absolutely. Our Lucite® windshields offer high optical clarity while shielding you and your gauges from harmful UV rays.

Choose your look and level of shade. We offer a full range of motorcycle windshield tint options, including clear, solar, black smoke, and dark black smoke — all designed to reduce glare, boost visibility, and complement your ride.

Not a chance. Our Lucite® acrylic is engineered to resist yellowing, hazing, and cracking, even with years of sun exposure.

Yes. Our windshields and fairings are designed for quick, at-home installation using basic tools — no specialty equipment needed. Each Memphis Shades Trigger-Lock™ mounting kit is model-specific and custom-fit to your motorcycle, while Handlebar Mounts are designed for specific windshield styles. Clear instructions and all required hardware are included, and most installs take under an hour.

We support a wide range of brands, including Harley-Davidson, Indian, Victory, and most Metric bikes. Use our Bike Finder tool or Fitment Charts to lock in the perfect fit.

When seated, the top of your windshield should fall between the tip and bridge of your nose. This ensures clear sightlines and reduces buffeting, especially in rain or at high speeds. For best results, visit your local dealer and reference our in-store sizing guides.

A Trigger Lock™ Mounting Kit includes both the anchoring hardware that mounts to your motorcycle and the plates that attach to your windshield or fairing. A Plates Only Kit includes just the mounting plates and is used when you already have Trigger Lock anchoring hardware installed on your bike.
 

Note: Trigger Lock and Quick Change systems are not cross-compatible. Trigger Lock anchoring hardware is easily identified by its four 1" polymer bushings, designed to accept Trigger Lock mounting plates.

Memphis Shades offers a variety of aftermarket replacement windshields in multiple styles, heights, and tints. Match the hole spacing on your existing windshield to our replacement options. Use our HD Plastics Fitment Chart to ensure compatibility for your Harley-Davidson windshield replacement. 

Use mild dish soap and a soft cotton cloth. To remove bugs, soak a soapy towel over the area and wipe gently. Avoid paper towels or abrasives. For a pro finish, use our All Kleer cleaner, made specifically for Lucite® surfaces. 

No. Avoid all glass cleaners, petroleum-based products, or harsh chemicals — including but not limited to Rain-X, acetone, paint thinner, benzene, ammonia, and gasoline. These substances can damage acrylic and will void your warranty. 

Rule of thumb: If it hurts your nose, it'll hurt the plastic.

Clean the surface thoroughly with soapy water and a soft cloth before applying NOVUS #2 plastic polish. Shake well, then apply using a soft, polish-saturated cloth. Rub with firm, straight strokes across the scratch, then finish with light circular motions. Let it dry to a haze and buff with a clean cloth to restore clarity. Deeper scratches may require additional applications and more pressure. 

Yes, but it’s not required. Our motorcycle fairings come with a durable, weatherproof gloss finish and are ready to ride as-is. However, if you want a custom look, they can be painted using most automotive or motorcycle paints. Be aware that some paints contain organic solvents that can damage the acrylic or ABS components. Always consult a professional painter before proceeding to ensure the best results and avoid material damage. 

Keep it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. For best results, use a Memphis Shades storage bag and avoid placing anything on top of it.

Every Memphis Shades product comes with a 24-month warranty covering defects in materials and craftsmanship. This includes all plastic and metal components. We also replace lost or damaged parts free of charge. For full details, see our Warranty Policy.

Our warranty excludes damage from improper installation, misuse, chemical exposure, or normal wear like scratches and fading. Always follow the included care and installation instructions.

Warranty parts typically ship via UPS Ground within one week. Most go out same-day when available. 

Returns must have a Return Authorization (RA) number. Call 901-853-0293 to get one. Items must be returned within 21 days in new condition and original packaging. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless due to our error or a valid warranty issue.
